OUR HISTORY

B&P’s history dates back 48 years to 1976, when Bruce Prewett started a construction company in Southaven, Mississippi.

Over the next several decades, equipment was added, employees were hired, and services were expanded and eventually became part of what is today’s B&P Enterprises. 

Since that time, B&P has been providing quality railroad and emergency services across the country for more than 47 years.

At B&P, we pride ourselves on safety, reliability, and quality rail and construction service.

Our vision at B&P is to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations though hard work, professionalism, and integrity.  At B&P, we understand that a vision is only as good as the stakeholders who work, day-in and day-out, to deliver on that promise.  That’s why our employees embrace a set up shared values that protect our employees and our future.

Code of Conduct

Every B&P employee is held to the conduct standards found in the B&P Code of Conduct, which focuses on ethical behavior, integrity and legal compliance. Each year our employees certify that they understand and will abide by our Code of Conduct.

Employees who are confronted with ethical concerns are encouraged to seek advice from a supervisor or their department leadership. Employees may also contact their Human Resources representative or the Compliance Department.  Retaliation for good faith reporting of an apparent or actual violation of the Code, or for participating in any investigation of a suspected violation, is prohibited.

In an effort to ensure a safe workplace, B&P has a safety vision that applies to each of its locations and includes appropriate safety guidelines
and training in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as our own policies. That vision is to operate free of accidents and injuries through training programs and modern technology.
